    Come socialize and take part in celebrating South Carolina's coastal heritage with other local salt water angling enthusiasts as we enjoy food  by Charleston Bay Gourmet, (menu) drinks, live, and silent auctions for trips and merchandise, as well as thousands of dollars in raffle prizes.

    2010 Live Auction Preview

     

    1. Charleston Harbor Chart Art Know where you’re at. Not only does this piece look nice on display but it is functional as well. Donated by Southern Moon Frame Shop.
    2. Shore Thang Charters This trip may just be what it sounds like! Two anglers will join Capt. Mark Phelps for a ½ day of inshore fishing in and around Charleston. Fuel, bait, and tackle are included. Must be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date. Donated by Capt. Mark Phelps.
    3. Tails  This brass redfish sculpture can only be found at YOUR CCA events. This piece will be wonderful in your office, home, or camp.
    4. Sand Spots Known as spot-tails only in South Carolina, long time CCA supporter Herb Booth brings you his rendition of a local favorite. Donated by CCA South Carolina.
    5. Custom Fly Rod & 24 Flies All you need is water and a healthy fishery with this package. Chris Donato, Jr. has crafted a one of one American Tackle Matrix 7wt fly rod equipped with Fuji ceramic guides, rosewood reel seat, and burl and cork handle. Capping this truly custom rod package off is a collection of 24 flies tied by Josh Whorton and Capt. Mark Phelps. Donated by Chris Donato, Josh Whorton, and Mark Phelps.
    6. Sea N’ Tail Charters           Charleston is the destination and inshore redfishing is the game. Capt. Mike Able Jr. of Mt. Pleasant will host two anglers for a ½ day of pursuing tailing redfish in and around the waters of Charleston. Fuel, bait, and tackle are provided, tips are not! Donated by Capt. Mike Able Jr.
    7. Cantey Bay Plantation Father/Son Turkey hunt Nothing is finer than spending quality time in the lowcountry woods with the next generation. This package includes one mornings hunt for a Father / Son or daughter experience. Clarendon County’s Cantey Bay Plantation is the destination and at 3,800 acres a trophy long beard is sure to be located. Guide MG Arrants will be your host and the hunt must be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date between 3/16/11 and 4/30/11. Donated by Cantey Bay Plantation.  
    8. Mike Able/ Cordray’s Deer Hunting package Avid deer hunter and owner of Haddrell’s Point Tackle, Mike Able has teamed up with local deer processing guru, Cordray’s for a complete deer hunting package. One hunter will join Mike in Williamsburg County for a morning or afternoon hunt. Once the deal is done, stop by Cordray’s to drop of your harvest for free processing and if needed one free European skull mount. Hunter must possess a valid SC hunting license. Must be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date in the 2010-2011 deer season. Donated by Mike Able and Cordray’s Venison Processing.
    9. Hand Carved Tupelo Serving Board  “Made by God, crafted by Man” Hemingway, South Carolina artisan Quinton Hughes embellishes each one of the one of a kind tupelo wood boards with this same message. Great for BBQ, chickens, Beaufort Stews, or whatever it will hold. This hand crafted piece is sure to be a conversation piece as well as a functioning piece of art.
    10. Got Shrimp..with Entertainment! Beaufort Stew for 40! Another effortless entertaining opportunity brought to you by the CCA Cooking Team! We provide all the ingredients that go into making that wonderful Lowcountry delicacy for forty of your closest friends…including the beer. Brought to you by the soon to be famous CCA Cooking Team. This Beaufort Stew comes equipped with live entertainment as well courtesy of Joe Wilson. Must be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date.
    11. Southern Steamer Oyster Steamer Good food and good times await with this lowcountry essential. Great for oysters, shrimp, crab legs, or clams. Made of aluminum and stainless steel, this item is easy to use, easy to transport, and easy to maintain. Donated by CCA South Carolina.
    12. “Pirates Lady” cruise for 30 pirate ladies! Ladies it’s your turn to take it to the water! The crew of the 49’ foot covered catamaran “Pirates lady” will be your host on this two hour booze cruise leaving from Bohicket Marina. On a mutually agreeable evening at approximately 5 p.m., you and 29 of your closest girlfriends will enjoy the sights and sounds of the lowcountry by water. CCA South Carolina will provide the wine and appetizers. Boat is equipped with “facilities”. Must be scheduled two weeks in advance on a mutually agreeable date. Donated by Mike Albenesius.
    13. Sailfish Duo This magnificent 33 inch brass over marble sculpture captures one of the oceans and anglers top prizes. Donated by CCA South Carolina.
    14. Los Suenos, Costa Rica for Six Anglers Spend three days in the sailfish capital of the world! Six (6) anglers will fish for two full days on any of three 42’ Maverick Sportfishers built in Costa Rica equipped with air-conditioning, tournament ready tackle, and experienced crew. Capt. George Beckwith from Down East Guide Service is your guide for this angling trip to heaven. Your trip includes, as already mentioned, two full days of offshore angling, beach front hotel accommodations at the hotel Cocal, and all in country ground transportation. Additional fishing days, inshore fishing and small boats are available. Capt. George can also offer ATV tours, hang gliding, canopy tours of the surrounding forests, or other activities that may interest you while in the island paradise. Air fare, tips, additional activities, fishing license, exit tax, and meals are not included. Trip must be scheduled between April 15 and November 30, 2010.     16. The Ya Ya Sisterhood Weekend   JUST FOR THE CCA LADIES! Ya Ya’s Unite! How about an Edisto Weekend getaway for 10 of your closest friends?! Included is a three-day/two night stay at a luxurious island beach house. Trip must be used between September 2010 and May 2011. Donated by Phil Sutton and CCA South Carolina.
    17. Sailfish & Ballyhoo This brilliantly colored brass over marble sculpture will brighten the décor in any room you choose to put it. Donated by CCA South Carolina.
    18. Backwoods Guided Quail Hunt for Two Two hunters will enjoy the finest of Southern experiences! Behind professional guides and dogs, two hunters will pursue 30 quail at backwoods Quail Club located on Old Morrisville Plantation in Georgetown County. With over 15,000 acres of open fields, timber, and wooded areas this preserve will provide you with an old fashioned southern style quail hunt. This half day experience includes dressing and packing of birds as well. Must be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date between 10/23/10 and 3/19/11. Donated by Backwoods Quail Club.
    19. Shiloh Plantation Turkey Hunt Package There is nothing more exciting than seeing a big gobbler strut into range to the sound of your calling. This is a unique opportunity for one hunter to join guide Kenny Ray of Shiloh Plantation in Orangeburg County to chase longbeards on this privately owned plantation. Varying from hardwood bottoms to upland pines, Shiloh plantation hosts a healthy population of turkeys. And to help make your hunt a success, included with this package comes a handmade and tuned slate call from Supreme Turkey Calls made by Steve Reeves.
